Goodbyes wouldn't be so hard if my friends & family weren't so great.

I cannot believe that I leave tomorrow. TOMORROW! It seems like just yesterday I set the countdown on my phone with over 100 days to go, and this adventure was more of just something off in the distance to fantasize about, and now, here I am.

The bags have been packed. Tears have been shed. And goodbyes are currently being said to all my loved ones. As excited as I am for this wonderful adventure I'm about to embark on, goodbyes are never easy (especially for me).

But ya know, I think it's kind of a blessing in disguise.  Goodbyes wouldn't be so hard if my friends and family weren't so great, and I've been so blessed to have such a great support system that makes it so hard to say goodbye for 3 and a half months! 

I'm going to miss so many of you so much, and while I'm soaking up some African sun, I can guarantee that I'll definitely still be thinking of all of you and sending some love and heat vibes your way.
